Everest in a year: your invitation

December marked the beginning of our climb, but what next? The summit of Everest is about the same altitude as a cruising jet, so we have a LOT of climbing to go!

In February we'll continue the upward ascent in the beautiful Surrey Hills and I'd love for you to join me. We'll be heading out on Saturday 16th Feb and the more the merrier (families, friends, children, colleagues - it'll be a walk for everyone!). Let me know if you'd like to come and I'll send you more info.

After

a big sociable

walk in the Surrey Hills,

we'll then begin the serious climb

upwards in March; with the North Pennines,

followed by Snowdonia, then the Lake District,

Brecan Beacons, Peak District and finally the Cairngorms,

leaving just a few hundred meters and a final push to the peak in the Autumn.

See what I did there? Or maybe you didn't if you're on a smaller screen!

Anyway: do join me in February if you're near the Surrey Hills! I'd love to see you there.

And if you can spare a little bit when pay day arrives next week, why not add your support and help fund some of the best solutions to climate change that tackle poverty too.
